Ronald Domingo Ayala Lopez was arrested by Haitian National Police at Toussaint Louverture Airport for the murder of Anthony Garcia.
Port-au-Prince, Haiti. – Members of the Haitian National Police arrested a Dominican wanted for murder by authorities in his country on Friday at the Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
According to the Haitian National Police (PNH), the man is Ronald Domingo Ayala Lopez, wanted in connection with the death of Anthony Garcia, also known as Glotin, which occurred at the end of August 2022.
Ayala López was arrested by a team from the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) as he was about to take a flight to Mexico with a fake Panamanian passport, number PA0793883, and in the name of Aneudy Yoel Lara Guerrero.
According to the Dominican authorities, Cristian Núñez García, the victim’s brother, around 1:30 a.m. on October 29, was at the Pamela convenience store with Anthony and others.
“When Ronald and Enger, armed, arrived; Enger only aimed at my brother Anthony and everyone who was there, but the one who fired several times was Ronald against my brother,” it is read in the judicial arrest authorization No. 00682-2022.
Núñez García also reported that his sister Manuela, who went to help Anthony, was injured by bullets fired by Ronald. The event occurred on street 5, in the El Capacito sector, of San Francisco de Macorís.
An international arrest warrant has been issued against Ayala López, who is described as dangerous, violent, and armed.
Ayala López is being interrogated by the authorities in Haiti while awaiting extradition to the Dominican Republic.
