Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. – A teenager in the advanced pregnancy stage died in the early hours of Monday due to leptospirosis and dengue in a health center in Puerto Plata, according to the death certificate.
The family of 18-year-old Ana Cristina Gonzalez, who was 7 months pregnant and lived on the main street of the Padre Granero sector, demand that the death of their relative be clarified.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Director of Public Health, Jhonny Tavarez, reported that he has ordered an investigation to determine the true cause of the teenager’s death.
