MADRID. – The Spain National Police are investigating an attack on a young man in a nightclub in Vallecas early Monday morning.
The victim claimed that he was “attacked with a machete” on the head and blamed the attack on “a Latin gang”. Reliable police sources deny this latter aspect since the Provincial Information Brigade and the investigators from Puente de Vallecas have been able to confirm that it is not a matter of juvenile gangs.
The protagonist of this story contacted the police when he was already on Yecla street, in the San Blas-Vicálvaro district, on his way home. It was around 11 a.m.
He said he went out on Sunday night to a Latin nightclub called Ágora Hd, on Carlos Martín Álvarez street in Vallecas. Although the closing time is 6 a.m., he said the incident occurred about an hour before the call for help.
The 25-year-old man, a native of the Dominican Republic, said: “I have received a machete blow from a Latin gang”. And he said it had been inside the party room, around ten in the morning.
National and municipal police officers arrived at the scene. The Samur was commissioned, who received the alert at 10:47 a.m. The injured person had a gash on the head, from a bladed weapon, was bleeding profusely and was taken to the Infanta Leonor hospital.
Subsequent investigations have determined that it was a fight between two groups in the nightclub.
