Young Dominican man is the main suspect in the murder of another man in Spain

SPAIN.- A young man residing in Mutilva, of Dominican origin and Spanish nationality, and with a criminal record, is the main suspect in the murder of another man in Villava, which occurred on Sunday morning.

The Foral Police is looking for Yaron Miguel Jiménez Pérez, 24, as the alleged perpetrator of the knife murder of Alfredo Ogando Uceta, Gualey, 48, and a resident of Pamplona.

The officers in charge of the investigation, which is being kept under the secrecy of summary decreed by the head of the Instruction Court number 4 of Pamplona, became aware that the author of the crime could be this young man when taking a statement from the woman who accompanied the victim when he was mortally stabbed in the vicinity of the Villava Hotel, around 6:45 a.m. on Sunday.

This same woman, who knew the identity of the attacker as she allegedly had a romantic relationship with him, according to acquaintances of the victim, would also have provided information to the officers that he had fled in a small white car.

The main suspect in the crime has his residence set in Mutilva (Aranguren), although his father lives in Pamplona.

The officers of the Brigade of Crimes against Persons of the Foral Police have conducted investigations in both homes, as well as in the surroundings of the young man, with the aim of finding his whereabouts.

Yaron Miguel Jiménez Pérez, who has Spanish nationality, has a criminal record for drug trafficking and gender-based violence, according to sources close to the case.
