Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. – A Dominican man has murdered his pregnant Puerto Rican partner with 80 knife wounds in the Villa Carmen neighborhood of Santo Domingo Este.
The victim, Angerilis Marrero Garcia, was 27 years old, and the alleged killer is Luis Eduardo Terrero Gómez. Marrero García lived in Orlando, Florida, and had come to the Dominican Republic to inform her husband of her pregnancy, but instead of being happy about the news, the man killed her.
After committing the crime, Terrero Gómez called his mother-in-law to show her the bloody body in a bathtub.
“When my sister answers the call, the person says ‘answer by video, turn on the camera’. When my sister turns on the camera, what she sees is my niece’s bloody body, and the only thing he said to her was ‘I killed her, you whore’,” explained María García, the victim’s aunt, to Noticias SIN. Terrero Gómez surrendered to the authorities and supposedly confessed to the crime.
The couple met eight years ago through social media.
